Starlink Launches Direct-to-Cell Satellite Service For Smartphones

Starlink, owned by Elon Musk, has completed the deployment of its satellite constellation that allows phones to connect directly to satellites for internet access. With speeds up to 10Mbps, this service works without any specialized equipment. Initially available via a partnership with T-Mobile, it could expand to other telecom companies globally. India is also preparing for satellite internet access by next year.
