Archaeologists have discovered the remains of al-Natah, a 4,000-year-old fortified town in northwest Saudi Arabia’s Khaybar oasis. This significant find, led by French archaeologist Guillaume Charloux, includes a 14.5-kilometer wall and indicates a shift from nomadic to urban lifestyles around 2400 BC, supporting a population of 500, and shedding light on early Bronze Age urbanization.
