Scientists Found Alien-Like Predator In Ocean’s Depths

Scientists have discovered a new predatory species, Dulcibella camanchaca, in the Atacama Trench, 7,902 meters deep. Unlike typical scavenging amphipods, it actively hunts prey, making it the first known predatory amphipod in the hadal zone. Measuring less than 4 centimeters, the pale white D. camanchaca is uniquely adapted to its cold, dark habitat.
