Star player Rishabh Pant overtook Virat Kohli in the latest ICC Test batting rankings. Pant made scores of 20 and 99 in the first Test against New Zealand at Bengaluru. This propelled him to jump three places to sixth place in the latest rankings. Kohli, who scored 70 in the second innings of the same match stands at joint eighth position. England’s Joe Root stands at the top of the rankings.
