Regeneration Of Manchester United Stadium Could Boost British Economy By £7.3 Billion

A proposed redevelopment around Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium could add £7.3 billion ($9.7 billion) annually to the UK economy. Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham stated that no public funds will be used for the project. The plan may involve either a new 100,000-seat stadium or upgrading the existing 74,000-seat venue, creating 92,000 jobs and 17,000 homes.
