Priyansh Arya, at just 23, stole the show with a phenomenal innings. He hammered 120 runs off just 50 balls, including 10 fours and an impressive 10 sixes. Arya’s most memorable moment came during the 12th over when he took on North Delhi’s spinner Manan Bhardwaj, hitting six consecutive sixes. This extraordinary feat not only electrified the crowd but also played a crucial role in propelling his team’s total.
Not to be outdone, South Delhi’s captain Ayush Badoni delivered an equally remarkable performance. Badoni amassed 165 runs off 55 balls, featuring eight fours and a staggering 19 sixes. His innings set a new record for the highest individual score in the inaugural season of the DPL. Badoni’s aggressive batting overshadowed Arya’s century and helped South Delhi Superstarz to a formidable total.
