World Cup champions India received USD 2,639,423 (approx. ₹25 crore), the largest share from ICC’s record USD 11.25 million prize fund after beating New Zealand by 96 runs to win their 2nd consecutive T20 title. Runners-up New Zealand earned USD 1.42 million, while semi-finalists South Africa and England received USD 9.24 crore and USD 8.96 crore respectively.
