Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer is set to return to cricket today after a two-month injury layoff. Having regained full fitness, he will feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, marking his comeback to the game. Iyer will lead the Mumbai side in the tournament. Notably, he has also been named vice-captain for India’s next series against New Zealand.
