Grand Mahashivratri Celebrations Begin At Srikalahasti

Ahead of Mahashivratri on Feb 15, celebrations have begun in grand style at Srikalahasti Temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district. Temple priests performed ritual circumambulation of the ceremonial idols, while devotees thronged the premises, filling with chants of Lord Shiva. Srikalahasti TDP MLA Bojjala Sudheer participated in the spiritual proceedings.
