India’s Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, 14 years and 294 days old, became the youngest cricketer ever to play a U19 World Cup match, breaking Canada’s Nitish Kumar’s record. Playing against the USA, he scored 2 runs but made history by taking a wicket on his second ball, becoming the youngest Indian to do so.
