GT and PBKS started the bidding war for Glenn Maxwell. SRH also showed interest in him. Even CSK entered the bidding. CSK raise the bid up to ₹4 crore. PBKS pause the bidding for a bit and revisit their strategy. They come back at ₹4.2 crore. CSK taps out and he was sold to PBKS for ₹4.2 crore. But, RCB have an RTM. They don’t want to exercise it. So Maxwell goes to PBKS.
