BCCI’s Order To Ban Champions Trophy In PAK Could Cost Hosts Rs. 548 Crores

Pakistan is likely to face key financial losses following a major setback from the BCCI. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it clear to the ICC that Team India will not participate in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy if it is held in Pakistan. As a result, Pakistan stands to lose Rs. 548 crores in hosting fees if the tournament is either moved to another country.
