A robot developed by a student of Government Arts College is greeting voters and distributing sweets at a polling station in Tamil Nadu, encouraging turnout on election day. Student Vimal Vijayan said it promotes 100% voting by guiding queues and voting steps. Two robots with voice and remote control features are deployed, receiving positive responses.
