Andhra Pradesh To Increase Incentives To Athletes To Boost Sports Industry

Andhra Pradesh is pushing to strengthen sports in the state with new incentives for medalists and Olympians. CM Naidu pledged to establish the state’s sports policy as the best in the country. As per new plans, Gold medalists will receive ₹7 crore, up from ₹75 lakh, while silver medalists will get ₹5 crore instead of ₹50 lakh, and bronze medalists will receive ₹3 crore, a rise from ₹30 lakh.
