Former Pakistan Test captain Azhar Ali has resigned from the national selection committee and as head of youth development at the National Cricket Academy. A source confirmed he submitted his resignation to the Pakistan Cricket Board. The move comes after ex-captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was given full charge of the Pakistan Shaheens and under-19 squads.
