From ₹25,000 To ₹131 Cr: BCCI Rewards Through The Years

After India’s triumph in the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, the BCCI revealed a huge ₹131 crore reward for team India. Rewards have grown over time, from ₹25,000 per player after the 1983 Cricket World Cup victory to ₹12 crore for the 2007 ICC World T20, ₹39 crore for the 2011 Cricket World Cup, and ₹125 crore for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions.
