IND Opener Shafali Faces Tough Competition For Monthly Honor

Indian opener Shafali Verma, popularly called Lady Sehwag, is once again in contention for the ‘Player of the Month’ award. After winning the accolade for her all-round performance in the ODI World Cup final, she earned a nomination for December. She faces stiff competition from South Africa’s Laura Wolves and Sune Loos, after a dominant display on home soil.
