Indian cricket legend R Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket at 38 on Wednesday, following the drawn third Test against Australia in Brisbane. A key figure in India’s Test dominance from 2012 to 2024, Ashwin earned 11 Player of the Series awards and took 37 five-wicket hauls. He also holds the record for most left-handed dismissals in Tests.
