Jason Holder Sets Record For Most T20 Wickets

West Indies bowler Jason Holder made history in T20 cricket in 2025 by taking 97 wickets in 69 matches, setting the record for the most wickets in a single calendar year. He broke Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan’s previous record of 96 wickets. Recently, IPL team Gujarat Titans (GT) purchased Holder for ₹7 crore in the auction.
