Shanaka Leaves PSL, Joins Rajasthan Royals For IPL

Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka has withdrawn from the 2026 PSL to join Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Originally drafted by Lahore Qalandars, the all-rounder opted out of his Pakistan stint after being named Sam Curran’s replacement. Despite going unsold in the December auction, Shanaka now heads to the world’s premier T20 league.
