Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has stepped down as Delhi Capitals mentor ahead of IPL 2026, saying he cannot commit the required time. He will continue as a commentator. Pietersen played 36 IPL matches, scoring 1,001 runs, and has 5,695 international T20 runs. IPL 2026 starts March 28 and runs across 10 cities.
