Shami Set To Play In Ranji Trophy, Return Date Out

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is set to return to competitive field. He was away from cricket for around one year due to injury. Shami will represent Bengal in their Ranji Trophy fixture against Madhya Pradesh starting from Wednesday. National Cricket Academy (NCA) has cleared him to play. Shami’s return was on the cards for quite a while but a fitness certificate from NCA delayed this.
