Indian spinner Axar Patel struck on his last ball of the innings to send Kane Williamson (81) back. Williamson was the last hope for New Zealand to win the game against India. Axar deceived him with a toss-up delivery. Kane charged him, but Axar anticipated it. This resulted in Kane missing the ball and KL Rahul dislodging the bails. NZ were 169/7 in 41 overs.
