Pakistan qualified for the Super-4 of the Asia Cup by defeating UAE by 41 runs. Batting first, Pakistan posted 146/9 in 20 overs, with Zaman scoring 50 and Afridi adding 29. In reply, UAE were bowled out for 105. Afridi, Abrar, and Rauf led the bowling attack, each taking two crucial wickets.
