Former cricketer Aakash Chopra expressed his surprise over England’s pacer James Anderson registering for the IPL mega auction. Aakash said, “I don’t understand why Anderson is entering the auction. It has been ten years since he last played a T20 match. As far as I know, he will likely remain unsold.” Despite this, Anderson registered with a base price of ₹1.25 crores for the IPL Auction.
