Tushar Deshpande was sold to Rajasthan Royals (RR) for ₹6.5 crore after a fierce bidding war with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Ryan Rickelton, from South Africa, was bought by Mumbai Indians (MI) for ₹1 crore as a low-budget overseas signing. Meanwhile, West Indies ODI captain Shai Hope, with a base price of ₹1.25 crore, went unsold at the auction.
