India Approves Bid To Host 2030 Commonwealth Games In Ahmedabad

India has approved a bid to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, proposing Ahmedabad as the host city. The Cabinet, led by PM Modi, also agreed to support Gujarat financially. If selected, this would be India’s second time hosting the event. The government says it will boost tourism, jobs, and infrastructure, and may support a future Olympic bid.
