UP Government Announces 3% DA Hike For Employees And Pensioners Ahead Of Diwali

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for 12 lakh state employees and pensioners, raising it to 53%. This increase, benefiting around eight lakh employees and four lakh pensioners. The adjustments, including bonuses, will impact salaries before Diwali, adding approximately ₹3,000 crores to the state’s financial burden.
