The Telangana government has announced ₹10 lakh compensation for the family of RTC driver Shankar Goud, who died by suicide. Additionally, a family member will be offered a job in the RTC. Narsampet MLA Donthi Madhava Reddy also pledged ₹5 lakh in personal financial assistance to support the grieving family during this difficult time.
