Rahul Gandhi criticized caste discrimination in India, calling it “unique” and among the worst in the world, and vowed that the Congress party would dismantle the “artificial barrier” of 50% reservations. He made the remarks while in Telangana, where the state government is set to conduct a caste census from November 6 to the end of the month.
