President’s Rule Lifted In J&K As NC-Congress Bloc Prepares To Form Govt

After nearly six years, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a fresh notification abolishing President’s Rule in Jammu and Kashmir. It follows Omar Abdullah of the National Conference staking his claim to form a new govt in the UT. The order will be revoked prior to the appointment of the CM. It is reported that the NC-Congress alliance achieved a grand victory in the recent polls.
