The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, comprising Congress, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Shiv Sena (UBT), has announced plans to contest 85 seats each in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. While consensus has been reached on 270 out of 288 seats, discussions continue for the remaining positions. MVA aims to present a united front against the BJP-JDS alliance in the elections.
