Madhya Pradesh Reports Over 1,100 Stubble Burning Cases, Second Only To Punjab

Madhya Pradesh reported 1,169 stubble-burning cases from September 15 to October 27, ranking second after Punjab’s 1,995. The Gwalior-Chambal region contributed significantly with 697 cases. Despite government efforts to educate farmers and provide subsidies for eco-friendly equipment, districts like Guna and Ashoknagar showed sharp increases.
