India Launches ₹1,000 Crore Venture Fund To Propel Space Sector Growth

The Union Cabinet, led by PM Modi, has approved a ₹1,000 crore venture capital fund to enhance India’s space sector through IN-SPACe. The fund, operational for five years, aims to invest ₹10-60 crore in around 40 startups, fostering innovation and job creation. This initiative seeks to strengthen India’s position in the global space economy, currently valued at $8.4 billion, targeting $44 billion by 2033.
