Fallout In INDIA Bloc After Haryana Debacle, SP Offers Only 3 Seats In UP By-Election

The fallout of INDIA bloc after Congress’ poor show in Haryana election rumbled on Tuesday. Samajwadi Party snubbed a seat-share request for by-polls to 10 UP Assembly seats later this year. Akhilesh Yadav’s party has named candidates for six of the 10 seats. The number is significant – the Congress wanted to contest five of the seats, but the SP is only offering only three seats.
