Syed Iqbal Becomes First Shiv Sena (UBT) Mayor Of Parbhani

Shiv Sena (UBT) corporator Syed Iqbal was elected Parbhani Mayor on February 12, defeating BJP’s Tirumala Khillare by 13 votes with Congress support. Congress’s Ganesh Deshmukh became Deputy Mayor. Iqbal is the first Shiv Sena (UBT) Mayor in Parbhani. BJP criticised the choice, while MNS defended it, highlighting governance over religion.
