TMC Files Privilege Motion Against Rijiju For Insulting Opposition MPs

Trinamool Congress MP Sagarika Ghose submitted a privilege motion against Union Minister Kiren Rijiju for allegedly insulting opposition MPs in the Rajya Sabha. Rijiju had stated that opposition members were “not worthy of being in this House”. The notice, backed by 60 opposition MPs, accuses Rijiju of misusing his position. Rajya Sabha proceedings were disrupted with protests.
