Suvendu Sounds Alarm: Bengal Temples Under Threat

West Bengal opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari claimed Sanatan Dharma is under threat in the state. Speaking at a rally on Sagar Island after offering prayers at Kapil Muni Ashram, he alleged idols were vandalized in several temples across South 24 Parganas. He further accused the police of ignoring these incidents.
