Bangla: Yunus Govt To Use Anti-Terror Law Against Opposition

The Muhammad Yunus-led government in Bangladesh is reportedly taking steps to suppress Awami League supporters, as per Human Rights Watch. The govt plans to use the Anti-Terrorism Act for arrests. HRW Deputy Director Meenakshi Ganguly warned that the repressive tactics once used by Sheikh Hasina’s govt should not be repeated under the new leadership.
