The Telangana govt is preparing to deposit ₹12,000 per acre for two crops directly into farmers’ accounts ahead of Sankranti, continuing its farmer assurance program. After the successful ₹9,000 cr distribution last monsoon, the scheme will be rolled out quickly, though funds will be restricted to cultivated lands, excluding uncultivated plots this time.
