Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the govt has allocated ₹30,000 crore for farmers’ welfare. He stated, “The Congress govt will make a decision on farmer assurance in today’s cabinet sub-committee meeting. Farmer assurance for Sankranti and new ration cards will also be introduced soon,” he added.
