SC Defers Hearing On ‘Green’ Crackers Sale To Oct 10

The Supreme Court postponed the hearing on manufacturing and sale of ‘green’ crackers in Delhi-NCR to October 10. Certified manufacturers may produce but cannot sell crackers in banned areas without approval. The court urged the Centre to review the ban and consult stakeholders before finalizing the decision ahead of Diwali.
