Farmers Worry As Tomato Rates Decline In AP’s Punganur

Tomato prices in Andhra Pradesh’s Punganur market are gradually declining as yields increase in export areas. Today, 19.35 metric tons of tomatoes arrived at the market yard. Quality tomatoes sold at ₹200 per 10 kg, while the second variety fetched ₹167 and the third variety ₹134. Farmers are also concerned that falling prices may impact their income.
