HYD To Get 2,000 Electric Buses Under ‘NEBP’

At least 2,000 electric buses will soon be introduced in Hyderabad under the ‘National Electric Bus Program’, which aims to achieve zero-emission public transport. The central govt is expanding the use of e-buses nationwide. Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) will open bids on Nov 6 for 10,900 electric buses, of which 2,000 are allotted to Hyderabad.
