78 More Maoists Give Up Arms; 2,000 Surrenders Since December 2023

In a major blow to Naxalism, 78 Maoists, including 43 women and top leaders, surrendered in Chhattisgarh. They handed over 39 weapons, citing disillusionment with Maoist ideology and praising state rehabilitation schemes. With this, nearly 2,000 Naxals have surrendered since BJP came to power. CM Sai declared Naxalism is collapsing.
