Kerala CM Inaugurates State’s Longest Tunnel Road

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Anakkampoyil–Kalladi–Meppadi tunnel project, set to become Kerala’s longest and India’s third-longest tunnel road. Aimed at easing travel between Kozhikode and Wayanad, the 8.73-km twin-tunnel will boost tourism and trade. Funded by KIIFB, the ₹2,143 crore project fulfills a major election promise of the LDF government.
