The Karnataka State Election Commission announced that Bengaluru civic polls under the Greater Bengaluru Authority will be held after May 25 using ballot papers instead of EVMs. Draft electoral rolls for 369 wards were released, covering nearly 89 lakh voters. Officials urged citizens to verify entries as house-to-house checks begin from January 20.
