Opposition Boycotts JPC’s 5-State Tour Over Alleged Arbitrary Actions

Opposition members of the Joint Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Amendment Bill have decided to boycott its upcoming five-state tour, accusing the committee Chairman of acting arbitrarily. They claimed their request to defer the tour was ignored. The committee was set to visit Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, and Lucknow from Saturday to engage with various stakeholders.
