April 25: World Penguin Day Highlights Urgent Threats

Today, April 25th marks World Penguin Day, dedicated to spreading awareness about conserving penguins, vital guardians of the marine ecosystem. Alarmingly, 10 of the 18 penguin species are now threatened with extinction due to climate change, and warming oceans. Urgent global action is also needed to protect these iconic birds and preserve ocean balance.
