Delhi L-G VK Saxena Acquitted In Two-Decade-Old Defamation Case

Delhi L-G VK Saxena was acquitted in a 20-year-old defamation case filed by activist Medha Patkar over a 2000 advertisement by NCCL. The Saket court ruled allegations were not proven beyond reasonable doubt. Earlier, Patkar was also acquitted in a separate defamation case filed by Saxena, citing lack of admissible evidence.
